School’s Festival

Every year, Saint Sebastian school has its Spring Festival. The weekend of April 30^th and May 1^st we will gather in the school’s parking lot for this big event.

Ever since the school year began, a group of volunteers has been meeting often so that they could prepare all the necessary details in order to make this year’s Festival really exceptional.

On Saturday April 30^th from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm and Sunday May 1^st from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Saint Sebastian community will be celebrating.

There will be music for entertainment both days. We will have many activities for kids and we will also have things for adults.

We will have food from different countries. Plan on having a meal with the whole family and friends on Saturday at noon or in the evening, or Sunday after mass.

There will be an auction with many items. There are also tickets to participate in the Andrea Boccelli concert.

There will be a raffle which has as first prize a round trip air from LAX for two, 8 days/7nights at Royal Lahaina Resort, $300 credit at selected resort restaurants in Hawaii (Maui(. The tickets are already on sale in the parish office, at the school or on a few Sundays at the end of mass.

Your participation is important. We want to school and parish to work hand in hand more and more. One of the missions of the parish is education and we fulfill this mission by way of our school.

The parish needs the school and the school needs the parish. On the weekend of April 30^th –May 1^st we need to show that we are the two lungs of St. Sebastian community.

Come one, come all and don’t hesitate to invite your friends. Perhaps you will allow one of your friends to find out about a good school for their children or a good parish for their family.

The total profit from the Festival will go to financially benefit the school.

Parking for Sunday morning will be limited. So, do not hesitate to arrive a little before mass so that you’re not late for the Eucharist.

There will be parking places in the street, the Veterans parking lot, and on Saturday afternoon and Sunday during the day in the Bank of America parking lot.     

The Festival is a good opportunity for the school’s parents to meet parishioners and for parishioners to meet the school’s parents.

The school has parents who live far from St. Sebastian and who participate in the life of their neighborhood parish. This weekend we will all be at St. Sebastian.

This year’s Festival will be unforgettable. Come and see

El Festival de la Escuela

Cada año la escuela San Sebastián tiene su Festival en la primavera. El fin de semana del 30 de abril y 1º de mayo, vamos a reunirnos en el estacionamiento de la escuela para este gran evento.

Desde el inicio del año escolar, un grupo de voluntarios se ha estado reuniendo frecuentemente, preparando los detalles necesarios, para que este año el Festival sea verdaderamente excepcional.

El sábado 30 de abril de 11am a 9pm., y el domingo 1º de mayo de 8:30am a 4pm, la comunidad de San Sebastián estará de fiesta.

Tendremos música para animar los dos días. Proponemos muchas actividades para niños, para los adultos también tendremos muchas actividades.

Tendremos comida de diferentes países. Considere compartir la cena con su familia o con sus amistades, ya sea el sábado al medio día, o por la noche, o el domingo después de misa.

Tendremos una subasta con muchos objetos. Incluso tenemos boletos para asistir al concierto de Andrea Bocelli.

Habrá una rifa teniendo como primer premio, un billete de avión para dos personas saliendo de Los Angeles à Hawai (Maui), estadía en el “Resort Royal Lahaina 8 días/7 noches y $300.oo para  utilizar en los restaurantes del Resort. Los boletos para la rifa ya están a la venta en la escuela, en la oficina de la parroquia, o a la salida de misa, en ciertos domingos.

Su participación es importante. Deseamos que la escuela y la parroquia trabajen unidas. Una de las misiones de la parroquia es la educación y desarrollamos esta misión, por medio de nuestra escuela.

La parroquia necesita de la escuela y la escuela necesita de la parroquia. Debemos mostrar, el fin de semana del 30 abril y 1º de mayo, que somos los dos pulmones de la comunidad San Sebastián.

Esperamos verlos muy numerosos, no duden en invitar a sus amistades. Talvez en ese fin de semana, usted le permitirá a una de sus amistades, descubrir una buena escuela para sus hijos, o una buena parroquia para su familia.

La totalidad del beneficio del Festival está destinado, para ayudar económicamente a la escuela. Gracias por su participación.

El estacionamiento del domingo en la mañana será reducido. Entonces trate de llegar un poco antes a la misa, para participar a tiempo en la Eucaristía.

Hay espacios para estacionarse en la calle, en el estacionamiento de “Veterans”. El sábado en la tarde y el domingo durante el día, podrán utilizar el estacionamiento del “Bank of America”.

El Festival es una buena oportunidad, para los padres de familia de la escuela, de encontrarse con los fieles de la parroquia. Y para los fieles de la parroquia, de encontrarse con los padres de familia de la escuela.

La escuela cuenta con padres de familia que viven lejos de San Sebastián y participan en la vida de la parroquia de su barrio. Ese fin de semana, todos estaremos en San Sebastián.

El Festival de este año será inolvidable. Vengan y vean.
