VOLUNTEERS

THANK YOU VERY MUCH

At the beginning of the year 2022 I would like to value all the volunteers who serve our community in very different domains.

I cannot name them because they are very numerous and above all because there are many who do what they can do with great discretion and silence.

Sometimes I don’t know who has done this or that for the good of the community.

Sometimes I don't know the name of the person who offers something to feed a poor person or to help a needy family.

Sometimes I discover that someone passed by the church and cleaned something dirty caused by the wind, the rain or by someone with bad intentions.

Thank you all. The Lord will fill you with his blessings because what you do for others (Mt 25,40) is done for the Lord.

After the Advent, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Christmas and New Year's Eve festivities, I would like to thank all the volunteers who participated in decorating the church.

Several people in the community, passers-by, tourists or members of your families who visited the church in this period have let me know that the decoration of our church was the most beautiful they had seen in their life.

They are right. Our church was particularly well decorated this year. It has always been beautiful. Since I arrived, I have always said that I do not want artificial flowers in the church. That it was better not to have flowers than to have plastic flowers. And several families listened to my words and have never stopped bringing fresh flowers to beautify God's house, everyone's house.

We have always had beautiful floral compositions.

But this year, the decorations of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the nativity scene, the Advent wreath, the Christmas trees and the Pascal candle were magnificent.

Thank you very much to all the people who participated in the decoration of Saint Sebastian.

We can be proud of our church because it is always beautiful to welcome those who come through it to say a prayer of thanks or supplication. Or simply, they come to visit the Lord.

May the Lord bless all the volunteers of Saint Sebastian and their families.

VOLUNTARIOS.

MUCHAS GRACIAS

Al inicio del año 2022, quisiera valorizar a todos los voluntarios que sirven en nuestra comunidad, en sus diferentes áreas.

No puedo nombrarlos porque son muy numerosos y sobre todo, porque hay muchos que nos ayudan en lo que pueden y saben hacer, con mucha discreción y en silencio.

A veces no sé quién ha hecho esto o aquello, por el bien de la comunidad.

A veces no conozco el nombre de la persona que ofrece algo, para alimentar a un pobre o ayudar a una familia necesitada.  

A veces descubro que alguien pasó por la iglesia y limpió algo, ocasionado por el viento, la lluvia o incluso, por alguien mal intencionado.

Gracias a todos ustedes. El Señor los colmará de sus bendiciones, porque lo que hacen por los demás (Mt 25,40) lo hacen por el Señor.

Después de las fiestas de Adviento, de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, Navidad y fin de Año, quisiera agradecer a todos los voluntarios, que participaron en la decoración de la iglesia.

Varias personas de la comunidad, personas visitando, turistas o miembros de sus familias, que acudieron la iglesia en este periodo, me han dicho que la decoración de nuestra iglesia, ha sido la más hermosa que habían visto en su vida.

Tienen razón. Nuestra iglesia fue particularmente bien decorada este año. Siempre ha estado hermosa. Desde que llegué, siempre he comentado que no deseo flores artificiales en la iglesia. Que es preferible no tener flores, a tener flores en plástico. Varias familias escucharon mis palabras y nunca han cesado de aportar flores frescas para embellecer la Casa de Dios, la casa de todos.

Siempre hemos tenido hermosos arreglos florales.

Pero este año, la decoración de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, el pesebre, la corona de adviento, los árboles de navidad y el cirio pascual estuvieron magníficos.

Muchas gracias a todas las personas, que participaron en la decoración de San Sebastián.

Podemos sentirnos orgullosos de nuestra iglesia, porque siempre está hermosa para recibir a quienes acuden para hacer una oración de agradecimiento o de súplica. O simplemente que vienen a visitar al Señor.

Que el Señor bendiga a todos los voluntarios de San Sebastián y a sus familias.
