Laureen and Chris, who are volunteers from the association "My Shepherd Testing," contacted us. This association has been created to offer churches and schools free covid tests for their members.

We received this proposal with joy, and since Saturday, August 21, we offer, free of charge, after each mass, a PCR test to all those who wish to take the test.

We are going to offer this action for a certain time so that all people who want to take the test can do it easily.

 You can make this registration at home before coming to Mass. After a maximum of 48 hours, you will receive the test result directly by email or by text on your cell phone. Only you will receive that result. In case of being positive, you are fully responsible for the procedure to be followed.

The test is carried out by each person, and we explain how to do it.

You can also take the kit home, take the test, and return it personally so that we can send all tests by UPS, carried out during the weekend, on Monday morning.

We believe that it is important that we all get tested frequently to take the necessary action when we discover a positive result. There are still people who do not know that when a test is positive, we must isolate ourselves because that means that we carry the virus, that we can transmit it to others and that we can develop the disease. That is the reason why immediately if you discover a positive test, you must contact you doctor.

All people, even those who have already received both doses of the vaccine, should be tested frequently.

It is important that we are all together in the fight against this virus. It is important that we participate in all the programs that science offers us to stop the spread of this disease.

Obviously, these tests are not mandatory, and the privacy and respect of the people who participate in the program are respected.

We are at your disposal to answer your questions and to help you in these moments in which a lot of false information circulates.

The fact of having people in our community who have already been vaccinated and who are not afraid to get tested regularly allows us to reduce the risks of contamination within the community. This also helps people who are hesitant to return to church feel confident to return.

Laureen y Chris, que son voluntarios de la asociación “My Shepherd Testing” tomaron contacto con nosotros para proponernos los servicios de la asociación.  Esa asociación ha sido creada para proponer a las iglesias y escuelas, la prueba de Covid gratis, para sus miembros.

Recibimos con alegría ese apoyo y desde el sábado 21 de agosto, ofrecemos, gratis, después de cada misa, la prueba PCR a todas las personas que acepten hacerse la prueba.

Vamos a proponer esta acción durante un cierto tiempo, para que todas las personas que deseen hacerse la prueba puedan hacerlo fácilmente.

 Usted puede hacer esta inscripción en su casa, antes de venir a misa. Debe anotar su información general. Después de 48 horas máximo, de haberse practicado la prueba, recibirá directamente por email o por texto en su celular, su resultado. Nadie más que usted recibirá ese resultado. En caso de ser positivo, usted es completamente responsable del procedimiento a seguir.

La prueba es realizada en forma individual, por cada persona interesada. Nosotros explicamos la manera de hacerla.

También puede llevarse el material a casa, hacerse la prueba y devolverlo personalmente. El lunes por la mañana, nosotros enviaremos vía UPS todas las pruebas, realizadas durante el fin de semana.

Creemos que es importante que todos nos hagamos la prueba frecuentemente, para tomar las medidas necesarias al descubrir un resultado positivo. Todavía hay personas que no saben, que cuando una prueba es positiva, debemos aislarnos. Porque llevamos el virus en nuestro cuerpo, podemos transmitirlo a los demás y podemos desarrollar la enfermedad. Esa es la razón por la cual, inmediatamente que usted descubra una prueba positiva, deberá contactar a su médico.

Todas las personas, incluso aquellas que ya han recibido las dos dosis de la vacuna, deben hacerse la prueba frecuentemente.

Es importante que todos estemos juntos en la lucha contra ese virus. Es importante que participemos en todos los programas que la ciencia nos propone, para detener la propagación de esa enfermedad.

Evidentemente que esas pruebas no son obligatorias y que tanto el anonimato como el respeto de las personas que participan en el programa son considerados.

Estamos a su disposición para responder a sus preguntas y ayudarlos en estos momentos en los cuales, circulan muchas falsas informaciones.

El hecho de tener en nuestra comunidad personas que ya se han vacunado y que no temen hacerse la prueba regularmente, nos permite disminuir los riesgos de contaminación, al interior de la comunidad. Eso ayuda también a las personas que dudan sobre regresar a la iglesia, a sentir confianza para regresar.

Seguimos orando y actuando para terminar con esta pandemia.
