2^nd Reading: Letter to the Hebrews 11:1-2, 8-19

Gospel: Saint Luke 12,32-48

The Church invites us to devote at least two Sundays each year to discover and contribute financially to the missions.

One of those Sundays is World Mission Sunday (Oct. 22^nd this year) and the other one is this week’s Missionary Cooperation Sunday.

The Church, all the baptized, have received the mission to proclaim the Good News not only with words but also through actions.
This weekend Jane and Tim Paulson are here to share with us their mission experience with an association that works in Malawi, one of the poorest countries in Africa.

Jane and Tim thank you very much for accepting our invitation.

19º Domingo Tiempo de la Iglesia

1ª lectura: del libro de la Sabiduría 18,6-9

Salmo: 32(33) 1.12.18-19.20-22

2ª lectura: carta a los Hebreos 11,1-2.8-19

Evangelio: de San Lucas 12,32-48

La Iglesia nos invita a consagrar, al menos dos domingos cada año, para descubrir y  apoyar económicamente a las misiones y a los misioneros.

Un domingo al año, es el domingo mundial de las misiones (el 22 de octubre este año) y otro domingo, precisamente éste, es  el domingo de la cooperación misionera.

La Iglesia, todos los bautizados, hemos recibido la misión de anunciar la Buena Nueva, no sólo  con palabras, sino también con actos.

Jane y Tim Paulson se encuentran  con nosotros este fin de semana para compartir su experiencia como misioneros, a través de  una asociación que trabaja en uno de los países más pobres de África: Malawi.
