“Repent and believe in the Gospel”.

On Ash Wednesday, the Church asked us to "repent and believe in the Gospel". During all Lent, the Church repeated that phrase so that everyone can become aware of the urgency and importance of repenting and believing in the Gospel.

Jesus withdrew to the desert before starting his public ministry. The desert is a place of silence, contemplation and prayer.

Let’s take some time this Lent 2015 to be alone. Just a few minutes every day or every week. Let’s make the decision to be alone like Jesus to better identify what we need to repent of and what things we need to move forward in our commitment to the Gospel.

We need to clearly identify in our life all the elements, situations, words, and attitudes which need to be changed. It is very important to make a list of thinkgs we need to change in our lives to truly live as children of God and brothers and sisters of all mankind. In this Lent we shall discover all which could prevent us from living our baptism.

Lent is a season of repentance. We must repent. We have so many things that need to be changed in our way of life, our relationships, and our behavior with others. We should start our renovation today. Only this way, on Easter we can renew our baptism and our commitment with our brothers and sisters to be witnesses of the gospel.

This season of Lent can help us discover the Gospel. Let’s take some time to read it and listen to it. Allow the Gospel to resonate in your heart.

Use this Lent season to believe in the Gospel. The Word of God is the only one who can guide us, strengthen us, and help us live better.

Repent and believe in the Gospel. Don’t trouble your heart with long speeches. In this season of Lent just let this invitation to be your guide: “Repent and believe in the Gospel”.

Have a good preparation towards Easter.

1ª lectura: del libro del Génesis 9,8-15

2ª lectura : de la 1ª carta de Sn Pedro 3,18-22

Evangelio: San Marco 1,12-15

 “Conviértete y cree en el Evangelio”.

El Miércoles de Ceniza, la Iglesia nos dijo: “Conviértete y cree en el Evangelio”. Durante todo el tiempo de cuaresma, la Iglesia nos estará reiterando esa frase, con la intención de que cada uno tome conciencia de la urgencia y de la importancia de convertirse y de creer en el Evangelio.

Jesús se retiró al desierto antes de empezar su misión pública. El desierto es un lugar silencioso que inspira a la contemplación y a la oración.

En esta cuaresma 2015, tomemos un poco de tiempo, para estar solos. Tomemos algunos minutos cada día o cada semana, con la decisión de estar solos como Jesús en el desierto. Para poder así, comprender mejor los aspectos sobre los cuales debemos convertirnos. Los aspectos sobre los cuales debemos progresar en nuestra unión con el Evangelio.

Necesitamos identificar claramente en nuestra vida, las acciones, las situaciones, las palabras, las actitudes que debemos cambiar. Es muy importante hacer una lista de lo que debemos convertir en nuestra vida para vivir verdaderamente, como Hijos de Dios, como hermanos y hermanas de nuestros semejantes. En esta cuaresma debemos descubrir todo lo que nos impide vivir el bautismo.

La cuaresma es el tiempo de la conversión. Debemos convertirnos. Tenemos tantas cosas que deben cambiar en nuestra manera de vivir, en nuestras interacciones y en nuestro comportamiento con los demás. Debemos empezar a convertirnos hoy para que el día de Pascua, podamos renovar nuestro bautismo y comprometernos con nuestros hermanos y hermanas a ser testigos del Evangelio.

Este tiempo de cuaresma nos ofrece la posibilidad de descubrir el Evangelio. Tomemos unos minutos de nuestro tiempo para leerlo, escucharlo y percibirlo en nuestros corazones.

Aprovechemos de este tiempo de cuaresma para creer en el Evangelio. La Palabra de Dios es la única que puede guiarnos, fortalecernos y ayudarnos a vivir mejor.

Conviértete y cree en el Evangelio. No confundamos a nuestro corazón con largos discursos. En este tiempo de cuaresma, dejemos simplemente, que esta invitación sea nuestra guía: “Conviértete y cree en el Evangelio.”
